Österreichs Weine begeistern die Welt
Die diesjährigen Weingipfel-Reisen standen unter anderem im Zeichen der typischen, regionalen Weinstile und präsentierten Österreich als hochwertiges Weinland mit Kultur, Tradition und spannender Kulinarik. Erstmals fand eine deutschsprachige Reise für 33 Schweizer und Deutsche Journalisten ins Burgenland bereits im April statt, um auch touristisch das Haydn Jahr 2009 einzubinden. Die nun im Juni angereisten 120 Journalisten konnten aus drei unterschiedlichen Reisen wählen: „The many faces of Niederösterreich“ und „The Steiermark, Austria’s Hidden Gem“ für internationale Presse, um ihr bereits etabliertes Wissen zu vertiefen und „Discover Wine Wonderland Austria“ für Weinprofis, die erstmals Österreichs Weinbaugebiete besuchten.
Die internationalen Gäste waren begeistert von den Weinen, der österreichischen Gastfreundschaft und der einzigartigen Weinlandschaft.
